These are some fine folks doing fine work to promote and document the surfing lifestyle and happenings since the sport began. Located in Huntington Beach just off Main Street, it is well worth a visit to check out the huge collection of surfing memorabilia. Their displays include surfboards (past to present), skateboards, posters, photos, videos, and of course "Surf Music". Special displays are set up periodically to highlight a particular aspect of the surfing lifestyle, so keep checking back to see what's new there.

The BreakerS have been regulars in Huntington Beach for years. In fact, Brian & Julia Clark both grew up in Huntington Beach and attended Edison High School. Each year, we play at several events in H.B. and we always enjoy it. It's great to be associated with Surf City! Thanks to the H.B. Chamber for including The BreakerS in the H. B. 4th of July Parade and the Surf City Festival at the Huntington Beach Mall on Sunday, July 25, 1999.
The Chantays

Having written one of the most recognizable surf music tunes ever recorded (Pipeline, in 1963), the Chantays hold a special place for us as surf musicians. Not only that, but Julia grew up living next door to Chantays' guitarist Bob Spickard! These guys always have an encouraging word and are super folks. If you get a chance to see them in concert, take it - and don't forget to take some money to buy some of their CDs!
