The BreakerS pay tribute to the Southern California beach culture with an all-instrumental program of Surf Music. Surf Music was born on the beaches of Southern California in the early 1960s and has grown to symbolize the vibrant and unique surf culture. Whether playing on the sand in Laguna Beach or at a convention hall in Palm Springs, The BreakerS bring the classic California beach atmosphere with them. From the drippy sounds of their reverb-soaked guitars and their brightly-colored Hawaiian shirts, to their song introductions featuring histories about the songs they play -- The BreakerS are classic Surf Music. The BreakerS' repertoire includes songs by Dick Dale & the Del Tones, The Ventures, The Surfaris, The Chantays, and much more -- as well as original music.
